These are just some of the best bars and pubs in town. Most of them are located near the river in the Hai Chau district, but in case you want to stay near the tourist area, make sure to check out Maia Beach Bar, right on My Khe Beach.

I haven’t been to all of them myself, but they have great reviews, and some friends of mine did enjoy their night out, so here I am recommending them!

Rooftop Bars in Da Nang Vietnam

Da Nang is renowned for its stunning rooftop bars that offer panoramic views of the coastal city. These swanky nightlife spots, perched atop tall buildings, provide an awe-inspiring visual spectacle.

The rooftop bars in Da Nang offer a romantic and lively atmosphere, overlooking the romantic Han River.

Some of the best rooftop bars in the city include:

  1. Sky 21 Bar & Bistro
  2. Sky 36 Club at Novotel Da Nang

These establishments offer a vibrant urban experience as you sip on delicious cocktails and enjoy the breathtaking views.

Whether you’re looking to relax or celebrate a special occasion, rooftop bars in Da Nang provide the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the sparkling beauty of the Han River.

Night Markets in Da Nang

If there’s one thing that you’ll love in Da Nang at night, it’s the night markets, and you’re guaranteed to have a great time with vintage charm, great street food, and cheap open-air massage.

First of all, consider Da Nang Night Market – located near Han River Bridge, with a variety of stores selling street food to gifts. It’s not far from the Dragon Bridge, so you can see both places at once.

The second high-spirited market worth visiting is the Le Duan night market, where you can taste some authentic Vietnamese dishes and experience the true culture of the city.

Better yet, the Son Tra night market and the street food in the Son Tra district, which are less crowded, are recommended to mix with the locals and try more street food. If you just want to stick to the tourist area, there’s a small walking street market in An Thuong with plenty of food.

You’ll find countless local dishes worth trying, such as Banh Mi, Banh Xeo, and Bun Cha. While you’re there, get clicking because you might just need a few hundred or even a thousand photos to capture the moment!

Night Clubs in Da Nang

If you’re ready for a night of music and dancing, you’ll find your happiness in Da Nang, as it’s full of good clubs with local DJs and live music keeping the party going.

One of the top spots is the New Oriental Nightclub, where the EDM beats are so good, you might find yourself dancing till dawn.

But wait, there’s more! Da Nang also throws some epic music festivals throughout the year. These festivals pull in artists from all over, making sure there’s something for everyone’s taste.

And just when you thought Da Nang couldn’t get any cooler, they opened a new international yacht terminal at DHC Marina Da Nang. It’s the perfect spot to start your night or see the fire show at the Dragon Bridge – Read further to know more.

Han River and Dragon Bridge

Han River and Dragon Bridge are among the most popular spots in Da Nang to hang out mainly in the evenings. You can enjoy a peaceful evening walking on the bank of Han River, or by taking a romantic cruise.

You’ll also get to enjoy stunning views of the Ferris Wheel from Asia Park in the background while strolling along the banks or taking a boat trip, providing a peaceful setting and escaping from the busy surroundings; in my opinion, great options for an evening as well.

Dragon Bridge

When the sun dips below the horizon, Da Nang comes alive, and the Dragon Bridge is where the magic starts – And it’s one of the nicest Da Nang bridges. To be honest, I found it to be one of the best things to do in Da Nang, and you’ll easily understand why.

It stretches across the Han River and doesn’t just stand there looking pretty – Oh no, it puts on a show.

Every Saturday and Sunday night, around 9 PM, the Dragon Bridge breathes fire and sprays water, turning the whole area into a live spectacle. You and everyone else can gather around to watch the dragon light up the night sky. It’s not just nice to see but also very fun to take part in!

There are different ways to enjoy the show. First of all, just head to the bridge before 9.00 PM and see it right next to it. Make sure to get here early because there are so many people around showtime.

On the other hand, for a more premium spot, head to one of the riverside cafes – I recommend DHC Marina and its rooftop. It’s a cool way to kick off your night in Da Nang, setting the stage for whatever adventure you’re planning next.

You can also join a cruise at night, but make sure to book ahead of time because they always sell out. I personally did take a cruise and while it was cool, seeing the fire show right on the bridge is the best option.

Try All the Street Food in Da Nang

Hungry? The local street food will sort you out. That’s right – You haven’t really tasted Da Nang until you’ve sampled the food from the street vendors.

Start with some Bánh Xèo, those crispy Vietnamese pancakes filled with shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts. Dip them in a tangy sauce and wrap them in rice paper with fresh herbs.

Mì Quảng is yet another great dish to try during your time in Da Nang. This noodle dish is a local favorite, with a rich broth, peanuts, and a mix of meats. Don’t forget the crispy rice crackers on top. It’s hearty, tasty, and totally satisfying.

There’s more, make sure to try some Nem Lui, which are grilled pork skewers served with rice paper, fresh greens, and a sweet peanut sauce. You get to roll your own spring rolls, which is half the fun and all of the flavor. Truth be told, I always found it hard to roll my own spring rolls until a restaurant in Da Nang taught me how, but regardless, the staff always helps you with that task in case you don’t know how to!

Of course, you can’t miss Bánh Mì. The Vietnamese sandwich might look simple, but it’s packed with flavor. It’s essentially a baguette filled with meat or pate, pickled veggies, and a bit of chili.

You can’t forget a sweet treat like coconut water, which is what you’re in South East Asia for, right?

Must-Try Street Food in Da Nang:

  • Banh Mi – The iconic Vietnamese baguette
  • Pho – A flavorful and aromatic noodle soup
  • Grilled Scallops – fresh and succulent seafood treat
  • Stuffed Squid – a delicious seafood specialty
  • Banh Xeo – Vietnam’s answer to savory pancakes!

If you’re all about trying new eats or just need a good meal, Da Nang’s street food is where it’s at. Grab a dish, relax with the locals, and taste your way through the buzzing streets of Da Nang.
